2 runaway teens in Carbondale found safe

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – Two Carbondale teenagers who police were looking for have been located and returned home.

Nevaeh A.R. Alaniz, 14, of Carbondale was last seen on November 20 in the 2500 block of New Era Road in Carbondale.

Synncere L. Payton, 15, of Carbondale was last seen on November 16 in the 400 block of North Brush Street in Carbondale.

As of November 27, they were found and home.

Carbondale police thanked the public for their help in the cases.
