Quiet and cool Sunday ahead
Saturday’s storms brought strong winds and light to moderate precipitation in parts of the SEMO bootheel, NW Tennessee and Western Kentucky.
Dry conditions are expected tomorrow through much of next week.
Following Saturday’s activity we look to say dry, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. There will be more cloud coverage in the morning, before we see a gradual clearing.
A few more clouds than sun are possible in the early morning, than we start to see mostly sunny skies throughout the day. A nice day overall to hang up any Christmas decorations.
A passing cold front will cool us down, sending our high temperatures into the 40s on Sunday. Cooler on Sunday, we will warm to near normal for mid to late week.
Saturday’s precipitation looks to be our last chance for a while. Throughout the week we will have a mixture of sun and clouds throughout the day. We will see a gradual warm up on the coming week.
