Woman facing charges after man stabbed several times

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A McCracken County woman faces charges after sheriff’s deputies say she stabbed her boyfriend.
Jamie Bailey, 33, faces charges of assault 1st degree and tampering with physical evidence.
McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Glenn Street for a report of a stabbing on April 23 around 10:35 p.m.
They found Joseph Spalding with multiple stab wounds to his back and arm.
Detectives continued the investigation and determined that Spalding was in a physical relationship Bailey.
During an argument, deputies say Bailey retrieved a knife and stabbed Spalding several times.
Spalding suffered severe injuries that required treatment at an out-of-state hospital.
Bailey was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
