Carterville man facing drug charges in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Carterville, Illinois man faces drug charges in McCracken County, Kentucky.

Ricky Taylor of Carterville, Illinois faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, 1st offense, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, one headlight, no registration plates and no registration receipt.

A deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop around the area of US60 and Metropolis Lake Road around 11:32 p.m. on September 5.

Sheriff’s deputies say Taylor was the driver of the vehicle.

Deputies say they found methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle.

Taylor was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail.
