(KBSI) – Drivers in Missouri will be impacted by roadwork in early February.

In Cape Girardeau, Perry Avenue and Pemiscot Street will be closed at the their northern intersection from approximately 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 and Weds., Feb. 5.
Water Crews will be working on the water main in this intersection.  A detour will be in place.  Motorists are asked to use caution in this area.

In Sikeston, Route 25 will be reduced as MODOT performs pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from Stoddard Street to Cemetery Road in Dexter, Missouri.

Then in St. Clair County, IDOT will close several miles of Interstate 255 for six months starting this Saturday.

The project will also improve safety, lighting, signage, drainage improvement, and bridge upgrades along the interstate.
