McCracken County man arrested, charged with drug trafficking offenses
PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A traffic stop attempt led to a pursuit and the seizure of methamphetamine, firearms and other evidence, resulting in the arrest of a McCracken County man.
Matthew Ingram, 30, was taken into custody on May 30 after detectives executed a search warrant at his residence.
Ingram is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The trafficking charges are firearm-enhanced due to the proximity of the methamphetamine to multiple firearms and ammunition.
The investigation began on May 28 when detectives attempted to stop a Dodge Challenger Hellcat driven by Ingram. During the pursuit, occupants discarded a bag containing suspected methamphetamine.
Ingram was out on bond in Marshall County on separate felony charges at the time of his arrest.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Paducah Police Department and the Reidland-Farley Fire Department. The investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests and charges are expected.
