Paducah police investigate Greyhound bus station shooting
PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A 47-year-old Paducah man has been arrested and charged with first-degree assault and wanton endangerment after a shooting at the Greyhound Bus Station.
Police responded to the station on Irvin Cobb Drive around 4:15 p.m. Sunday after a 911 call reported a man had been shot. Officer Brooke Adams arrived at the scene and observed the suspect, identified as John Bryan, fire a round. Adams ordered Bryan to drop the gun, and he was taken into custody.
The victim, shot in the abdomen, was transferred to an out-of-state hospital and is in stable condition. Bryan is being held at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are encouraging anyone with information to contact the Paducah Police Department or submit an anonymous tip through West Kentucky Crime Stoppers.
