Saint Francis Healthcare System to host open house for new East Prairie Clinic

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Saint Francis Healthcare System has announced plans for an open house celebrating the new Saint Francis Clinic – East Prairie, located at 402 N. Washington St. in East Prairie.
The event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., with a special blessing ceremony at 4 p.m. Attendees will be able to tour the new facility, enjoy light refreshments, and learn more about the expanded healthcare services now available to the community.
The new clinic replaces the former location at 320 N. Lincoln St. and offers primary care and counseling services, along with onsite lab and imaging capabilities. The facility is designed with patient comfort and convenience in mind and features state-of-the-art equipment and a team of healthcare professionals focused on personalized, high-quality care.

Founded by the Franciscan Sisters in 1875, Saint Francis Healthcare System is anchored by Saint Francis Medical Center, a 306-bed tertiary hospital in Cape Girardeau. The system employs nearly 3,000 people and includes more than 250 providers in ten communities across the region. Its major service lines include the Cancer Institute, Emergency and Level III Trauma Center, Family BirthPlace and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Heart Hospital, Neurosciences, and Orthopedics.
