Lincoln health expert says ‘don’t give up’ on fitness resolutions

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – By February, some people may have already dropped their New Year’s resolutions.

But a Lincoln health expert says she believes that people are still committed to their resolutions.

Channel 8 spoke with Goodlife Health and Fitness trainer Tara Helms, who says there’s been no shortage of people reaching their goals.

“We still have people coming in for memberships every day, so that’s wonderful,” she said. “We have our new people still showing up, we’re so happy that they’re still here.”

Helms says she has seen great progress with the clients she works with.

“Don’t give up,” she said. “If you don’t see progress right away, keep chasing the end goal.”
