Recall Alert: helmets, heaters and cantaloupe
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Sakar International is recalling over 89,000 of its dimensions Bluetooth speaker multi-purpose helmets.
These helmets are exclusively sold at Walmart. The company says they do not comply with the U.S. CPSC Federal Safety Standard for bicycle helmets; this could cause injury in a fall.
Do not return the helmets to Walmart, instead contact Sakar for a free replacement. Walmart is contacting all known purchasers.
ToolGuards is recalling its portable water immersion heaters; they are sold exclusively at Amazon. The company says the heater can overheat, melt or catch on fire.
If you have this product, unplug the heaters, cut the electrical cord and send a photo to the company. The firm is also contacting all known purchasers.
Liberty Fruit Company is recalling certain packages containing cantaloupe, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
The recalled products were distributed to retail stores and food service operations in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. To date, no illnesses have been reported.
The product is packaged in 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz and 32 oz (consumer only) as well as 5 lb (foodservice only) clear plastic containers marked Fruit Medley, Fruit Tray, Fruit Salad, Cantaloupe Chunks, Hawaiian Blend, and Melon Medley. The expiration dates marked on the labels range from 3/21/2022 to 3/26/2022.
