2 arrested for drugs after 2 separate traffic stops in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah woman and Metropolis man face drug charges after two separate traffic stops.

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on January 3 on a vehicle on US Hwy. 60W after observing registration violations.

During the traffic stop the driver, identified as 48-year-old Holly M. Hyde of Paducah was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

She was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

On January 4, dectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted another traffic stop on a vehicle on old US Hwy. 60 after observing traffic violations.

During that traffic stop the driver, identified as Dylan L. Hobbs, 35, of Metropolis, Ill, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Holly M. Hyde, 48, of Paducah faces charges of no registration plates, no registration receipt, possession of a controlled substance-1st degree, 2nd offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia (buy/possess).

Dylan L. Hobbs, 35, of Metropolis, Ill. faces charges of careless driving/possession of a controlled substance01st degre, 1st offense (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia (buy/possess).
