2 face gun, drug charges in Graves County

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A man and woman face gun and drug charges in Graves County after sheriff’s detectives investigated a complaint of illegal activity.

Dorothia Ann Huddleston, 61, faces charges of hindering prosecution or apprehension, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lowell B. Walker, 58, faces charges of possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was also charged with being a fugitive from justice from another state.

Authorities went to a home in southern Graves County in the 500 block of State Route 385 South on Tuesday, March 21 at 9 a.m. concerning a complaint of illegal activity.

The resident, Lowell B. Walker, was found hiding in the attic of the home after his acquaintance told officers that he was in St. Louis, according to Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden.

Authorities found crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and two firearms, according to Sheriff Hayden.

Walker is a convicted felon and cannot legally possess firearms.

It was also found that Walker was wanted on an outstanding warrant for illegal drug possession in Jefferson County, Mo.

Huddleston and Walker were taken to out of county jails.
