2 men face charges after Scott City police find drugs in home

SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KBSI) – Two men face drug charges after the Scott City Police Department served a search warrant at a home.

Officers from the Scott City Police Department obtained and served a search warrant at 2507 James Street in Scott City on Dec. 15 at 7:26 p.m.  The warrant was obtained as a result of an investigation for illegal narcotics.

During the search, officers found many different items of drug paraphernalia and several baggies of methamphetamine, according to Scott City Police Capatin Chris Grigg.

Officers also found small amounts of Fentanyal and cocaine.

There were two men and and two male juveniles inside of the home when the warrant was executed.

Kyle Lee Morgan of 2507 James Street faces three counts of deliver controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid a class C felony and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs 1st degree, 1st offense, a class D felony.

Both men were arrested and taken to the Scott City Police Department Jail.

Arrest warrants were issued through Scott County 33rd Judicial Circuit Court with no bond.
