Cape Girardeau police search for suspect after robbery at convenience store

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Cape Girardeau police are investigating a reported robbery at a convenience store on Wednesday.

At about 4:33 a.m. on March 30, a white male entered Rhode’s on S. Kingshighway.

He flashed a pistol toward the clerk and demanded the cash from the register, according to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

Once he received the cash he left in an unknown direction.

The investigation is ongoing.
