Carbondale police investigating after pedestrian injured in crash

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – The Carbondale Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car and injured on Monday.

Officers responded to the 100 block of West Walnut Street at 8:20 p.m. on February 20 after a traffic crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is active and ongoing.
