Boil water order lifted in East Prairie
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. (KBSI) – The city of East Prairie lifted its boil water order on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
Those who live in the city limits of East Prairie were without water Tuesday, Jan. 3 after a pipe busted.
The busted pipe flooded the East Prairie Water Plant early Tuesday morning, according to East Prairie City Administrator Brett Bradley.
City water had to be shut off. There is no running water for those who live in the city limits of East Prairie.
Earlier Tuesday afternoon, there was a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory sent out to residents. The advisory will be active until the city hears from Missouri DNR on the test results.
The East Prairie Public Works Department worked all day Jan. 3 to pump water out of the plant.
