Man arrested, accused of ‘lewd sexual acts on himself’ in public in Scott County

SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KBSI) – A man faces domestic assault and sexual misconduct 1st degree charges in Scott City.

Officers from the Scott City Police Department arrested Brett Anthony Medley on February 20 on a domestic assault 3rd degree charge.

Scott City Police Department officers investigated Medley for an incident that occurred in Scott City on January 27 at a local business. Medley is accused of performing lewd sexual acts on himself. These acts were reported to have been witnessed by customers of business as well as children, according the police department.

A warrant was obtained for Medley for sexual misconduct 1st degree, 1st offense.

During the investigation, police discovered that Medley allegedly committed the same acts in other surrounding jurisdictions such as Chaffee.

Another warrant was obtained for Medley for the offense of sexual misconduct 1st degree, 1st offense.

Medley was taken to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department on Feb. 20 on no bond warrants.
