Man facing charges of failing to register as sex offender in Bollinger County
BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A man faces charges of failing to register as a sex offender in Bollinger County.
Melvin Jones, a registered sex offender who lives in Bollinger County, faces two counts of Class E felony of failure to register as a sex offender.
On Wednesday, August 30, an investigator with the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office discovered sex offender registration violations during a compliance check for Jones.
Jones was arrested.
A judge set a bond $5,000 cash or surety. Jones has since posted bond.
