Mayfield woman faces charges after traffic stop turns into drug arrest

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Mayfield woman faces drug charges after a McCracken County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop late Sunday night.

Richardann L. Davis, 34 of Mayfield faces charges of drug paraphernalia –buy/possess, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree (Suboxone) and possession of controlled substance, 1st degree (methamphetamine).

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Ford pick-up truck on Old Mayfield Road near Herzog Lane on January 15 around 11:30 p.m.

Davis was in the truck. They deputy found that Davis was in possession of crystal methamphetamine, Suboxone, marijuana, and other items related to drug paraphernalia, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Davis was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
