Missing Carbondale woman found safe

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – A missing Carbondale woman was found safe and in good health.

Police in Carbondale requested the public’s help finding Maelena Hardin, 49, of Carbondale on Monday.

She had been last seen in the 200 block of North Washington Street on September 2.

Another law enforcement agency found her.

Carbondale police thanked the public for their assistance.
