Motorcyclist from Greenville dies in crash with pickup truck in Poplar Bluff

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) – A Greenville man died in a crash between a motorcycle and pickup truck in Poplar Bluff on Wednesday.

Joseph Coble, 36, was driving a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

A 17-year-old boy was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado.

The driver of the pickup truck pulled into the path of Coble’s motorcycle at the intersection of Pine Street and Broadway in Poplar Bluff. It happened at 5:10 p.m. on August 13.

Cober was pronounced dead at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

The 17 year old was wearing a seatbelt.

This is the 50th deadly crash in Missouri for 2023.
