Murray man faces drug charge after traffic stop

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Murray man faces drug charges after a traffic stop Thursday.
Omero Torres, 33, faces a charge of possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine).
Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 641N in Murray on Sept 14 around 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 14.
Torres, the driver, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs which is a Class D felony, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
He was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
