Paducah man accused of selling drugs from apartment

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man faces drug charges after McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint alleging illegal drug sales.
James “Stuart” Thompson, 43, faces two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, one count possession of 2nd-degree controlled substance-ecstasy, possession of 2nd degree controlled substance-anabolic steroid and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thompson is accused of selling illegal drugs out of his apartment on North 6th Street in Paducah.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thompson on Friday, February 10 after searching his apartment on Friday.
During a search of the apartment, detectives found and seized methamphetamine, ecstasy pills, steroids, and assorted items of drug paraphernalia, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Thompson was found nearby at a Paducah Hotel. During a search of Thompson’s belongings, detectives found approximately 5.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.
Thompson was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
