Paducah woman facing drug charges after traffic stop

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah woman faces drug charges after a sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop.
Tamaria M. Buchanan, 43, faces charges of no tail lamps, illegal possession of a legend drug, possession of controlled substance, 1st degree (Hydrocodone) and possession of controlled substance, 1st degree (methamphetamine) 1st offense.
A deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevy pick-up truck on Kentucky Ave. at the Deluxe Inn on Monday, Jan. 24 around 2:15 a.m.
The truck that was driven by Buchanan, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Buchanan was found to be in possession of 4 grams of crystal methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, and other items related to drugs and drug paraphernalia.
She was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
