Police investigating apparent murder-suicide at home in Jackson
JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Jackson Police Department is investigating an apparant murder-suicide.
The police department received a call on February 7 about 3:30 p.m. to check the well-being of some residents in the 1800 block of Lewis Drive. The caller said he/she had not heard from the residents in several days and was concerned.
Officers arrived on scene and tried to make contact. The officers tried to check other doors and windows to make contact.
An officer was able to see into the home through an open window and saw a person on the ground who was not responding.
Officers forced entry into the home and found a male and female dead, according to the Jackson Police Department.
Police have not released the identities out of respect for the family.
