Registered sex offendered arrested, accused of loitering at public park, near school

STEELE, Mo. (KBSI) – A man faces a charge of being a sex offender within 500 feet of a playground/park and public school in Steele.
Terry Lee McVay Jr., 43, faces a charge of sex offender physically present/loiter within 500 feet of a playground/park and public school.
Steele Police Chief Billy Joe Stanfield received a report on September 6 of McVay seen at Joe Saliba Park.
Chief Stanfield found McVay Jr. and questioned him.
McVay is being held at the Pemiscot County Jail on the felony charge with no bond warrant.
