Search and recovery efforts locate missing fisherman at Super Lake
PERRY COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – Divers have reported the recovery of a missing fisherman at a local lake.
According to the MABAS-Division 68/45 Dive/Sonar Team operation divers located the victim’s body around 9:56 am on Thursday May 28, 2026 at Super Lake in the Pyramid State Park.
The division says the victim was located in about 12 feet of water at Super Lake and they efforts were timely in hopes of bringing closure to the family.
MABAS posted to Facebook saying many local departments helped in this search and recovery effort.
