SEMO Redhawks Watch Party

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Here at the Wings Etc. in Cape Girardeau, SEMO alumni and fans are gathering to cheer on the Redhawks.

The Redhawks are battling Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in Dayton, Ohio, in the initial First Four game.

This marks the first March Madness game for the Redhawks in 23 years.

“It’s a good time for Cape and for Southeast Missouri,” said SEMO fan Curt Buccheit.

Tracey Glenn, SEMO fan, relishes the opportunity for more basketball in March.

“I’ve been a fan of SEMO for a very long time, I’m a SEMO grad and of course, we’re season ticket holders, we go to every single game if we can, it’s such an amazing time, all my friends are here to support, we’re having a great time at Wings etc. with Joe Huff with this big group, we’re happy to be here and to support SEMO, we’re going to have a great time tonight, we’re going to have a big win,” said Glenn.
