Sheriff: Obion County man arrested after meth found during traffic stop

OBION COUNTY, Tenn. (KBSI) – A Troy, Tennessee man faces a drug charge after he was found with methamphetamine, according to the Obion County Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, February 13, William Powers, 42, of Troy was arrested following a traffic stop on Hwy. 51 in Union City.

During a pat down, Powers was found to have four baggies containing a total of 11.52 grams of methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.

He faces a charge of possession of scheduled II and taken to the Obion County Jail. A received a bond of $75,000.
