The main threats this evening into Friday morning will be STRONG WINDS up to 65+ mph, Hail up to half dollars or greater, isolated tornado threat and flooding. TIMING: 4PM Thursday-5AM Friday

4-7PM: Strong storms will move W->ESE Thursday evening in SE Missouri/ S Illinois . Storms will be capable of winds up to 65+ mph, large hail and even a brief tornado threat.
8-10PM: Cape G, Harrisburg & Poplar Bluff will see a scattered strong/severe storms move in by this time.
Midnight-4am: Storms will spread across the area, carrying a damaging wind, hail & flooding threat.
A few brief weak tornadoes could occur from 6-11pm.
Rain through Friday morning: Flooding will be a concern through Saturday morning. Rain totals up to 2-5″ just through Friday morning, with an additional 1-3″ through Saturday!

Strong to severe storms look to move in again Friday evening/night. The severe threat a bit lower, but still gusty winds up to 60+ mph will be the main concerns along with flooding.
A FLOOD WATCH is in effect through Sunday morning. Rain totals could exceed 4-6″+ through Sunday, especially for parts of Kentucky, Illinois & Tennessee.
Rain through Saturday night: Through this whole weather event (Saturday), rain totals up to 5-7″ will be possible within a few areas.
