Carbondale Police investigate theft, vandalism at local business

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Police are investigating a report of theft and criminal damage to property at a business in the 2200 block of East Main Street.

Authorities say unknown persons damaged property and stole a small amount of copper between Jan. 19 and Feb. 6, causing significant damage to heating and refrigeration units.

The City of Carbondale Police Department is encouraging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
