Missouri Governor proclaims Feb. 15-22 as National FFA Week
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Missouri FFA members joined Gov. Mike Kehoe on Monday to proclaim Feb. 15-22 as National FFA Week in Missouri. The proclamation coincided with the annual Drive Your Tractor to Work and Careers in Agriculture Day.
Kehoe drove a John Deere tractor to the Capitol in honor of the FFA tradition, demonstrating his support for the organization and its members. The event highlighted the importance of agriculture in Missouri and the role of FFA members in shaping the industry’s future.
National FFA Week recognizes the organization’s mission to develop premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. Missouri is home to over 26,000 FFA members, ranking eighth nationally.
