Traffic stop leads to arrests of two individuals with outstanding warrants

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI)- Deputy Andrew Prusaczyk conducted a traffic stop on S. Friendship Rd. early Sunday, Feb. 24, 2025, on a yellow 2015 Kia passenger car for an equipment violation.

The driver, Kori E. Lane, and passenger, Donte M. Thompson, were identified during the investigation. Thompson provided false identifying information, which led to a further investigation revealing multiple felony warrants for his arrest ¹.

A search warrant was executed at Lane’s residence in the Lone Oak area, where Lane denied Thompson’s presence. However, Thompson was found hiding in a room. Both were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Thompson faces charges of probation violation, parole warrant, and giving false identifying information. Lane is charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension in the second degree.
