Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to visit Missouri nuclear waste sites

ST. LOUIS, Mo., (KBSI) — At the invitation of a local advocate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has agreed to visit Missouri to witness the impact of government-dumped nuclear waste in the St. Louis area.
Delighted to say that today, at my invitation, @RobertKennedyJr agreed to come to Missouri to see firsthand the sites where the government dumped nuclear waste in St. Louis – and the lives that have been ruined because of it. It is time to compensate these good people NOW #MAHA

Kennedy’s visit aims to shed light on the lives affected by the nuclear contamination, which has been a longstanding issue in the region. The area was contaminated with nuclear waste from the Manhattan Project-era.
The visit comes as local residents and lawmakers, including Senator Josh Hawley, have been pushing for compensation and cleanup efforts for those affected by the nuclear waste.
