Three arrested in crystal methamphetamine trafficking sting in Graves County, Ky.
GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — An investigation into crystal methamphetamine trafficking led to the arrest of three men early Tuesday morning. The arrests took place at the Graves and Hickman County Line on Ky Hwy 1748, just after midnight.
Sheriff’s detectives had been surveilling a vehicle, which had traveled to the Louisville area to pick up crystal methamphetamine. The vehicle was stopped by Sheriff Hayden and detectives Seaton and Cornwell at 12:30 a.m.
Approximately 3 ounces of crystal methamphetamine were found hidden in the vehicle, with the assistance of a Marshall County Sheriff’s Office K9 and Deputy Josh Anderson. The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested and charged.
Those Arrested:
Randy L. Dortch, 55, of Dublin, Ky., charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance (3rd or subsequent offense), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Aaron D. Warren, 41, of Mayfield, Ky., charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
Donald R. Jones, 56, of Dublin, Ky., charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
Both Dortch and Warren have previous felony convictions. All three suspects were transported and lodged at out of county detention centers.
