American Red Cross opens shelters for storm victims in Missouri
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The American Red Cross has opened shelters in southeastern Missouri and St. Louis for individuals and families affected by Friday’s severe storms and tornadoes.
The shelters are located at:
— City of Miner Convention Center, 2610 E. Malone Ave., Sikeston, MO 63801
— Grace United Methodist Church, 6199 Waterman Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63112
— Friendly Temple Outreach Center, 6356 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, St. Louis, MO 63133
No identification or proof of residency is required for admission to the shelters. Red Cross services are free and available to all, regardless of race, religion, nationality or citizenship status.
The Red Cross is working with community, government and emergency management officials to determine assistance needed.
