Westrock Orthodontics donating more than 7,000 oral hygiene kits to Southern Missouri schools

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Westrock Orthodontics is distributing more than 7,000 oral hygiene kits to schools and community organizations across Southern Missouri ahead of the new school year.

Each kit includes a toothbrush, fluoride toothpaste, dental floss and a reusable carrying case that can also be used as a pencil pouch. The kits are intended to give school nurses supplies they can provide to students who may not have access to basic oral hygiene products.

“While school supplies often receive the most attention, basic hygiene items are just as essential,” Westrock Orthodontics Regional Manager Jessica Deaver said. “We want school nurses and educators to have these resources available so every child has the opportunity to care for their health and feel confident walking into the classroom.”

Westrock Orthodontics said the initiative is part of a larger investment in oral hygiene supplies for schools and families across multiple states.

Schools, PTOs, school nurses and organizations serving young people can request kits while supplies are available by contacting Westrock Orthodontics.

The company operates more than 50 affiliated clinics across Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee.
