Brookport man out on bond for possession of meth, arrested again for meth

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Brookport, Illinois man who was out on bond for a possession of methamphetamine case was arrested after authorities say they found meth again.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Dylan Hobbs, of Brookport, Ill. on Cairo Road on January 16 around 11:30 a.m.

During the investigation, a K9 was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle found items containing methamphetamine, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Hobbs was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail.

He was out on bond for a possession of methamphetamine case from earlier in January 2023.
