Man wanted for homicide in MI arrested in Williamson County

COLP, Ill. (KBSI) – A man wanted for homicide in Michigan was arrested in Williamson County, Ill. on Monday, Aug. 29.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office received a tip through the Williamson County Crime Stopper Tip Line in reference to someone wanted from Holland, Michigan. The tipster said the person was wanted for murder.

Tuesday, Aug. 29, the U.S. Marshals Service and Williamson County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle matching the description given by the tipster.

Thaddeus Cortez Wilson, 39, was arrested.

Wilson was taken to the Williamson County Jail where he is being held on a no bond warrant out of Holland, Mich. for homicide.
