Wanted Indiana man arrested after motorcycle pursuit in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — An Indiana man wanted on drug and weapons-related charges was arrested after authorities say he fled from a traffic stop on a motorcycle.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle for speeding on McKendree Church Road around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Investigators said the motorcycle did not stop and continued at high speeds into Ballard County before eventually yielding to the deputy.

The driver, identified as 34-year-old Kevin Brantley of Evansville, Indiana, was taken into custody on multiple traffic and fleeing charges.

Deputies also determined Brantley was wanted in Indiana on narcotics- and weapons-related charges.

Additional information about the Indiana charges was not immediately available.
