Saxony Lutheran High School to build new agriculture science multipurpose building

JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – Saxony Lutheran High School held a groundbreaking Friday morning for a new agriculture science multipurpose building.
The building will be used not only for FFA and Ag classes but also concession stands and restrooms for use during sports events. School officials, city leaders’ students and teachers showed their support for the new building.
Saxony Lutheran Principal Mark Ruark gives details.
“We became the only private school in the state of Missouri in 2014 to have an Ag, science FFA program and part of that curriculum includes having some shop space to do metal works, some wood working, and we just didn’t have that and that was the real motivation to build a space for the Ag science program but as a small school that relies totally on donations when we build something we like for it have multipurpose uses” says Ruark.
Ruark says the project is estimated to be done in May 2025.
