Carbondale suspends refuse and recycling pickup due to snowstorm

CARBONDALE, Ill. — The City of Carbondale has suspended refuse and recycling pickup today due to the snowstorm.

Today’s scheduled pickup will instead occur on Monday, Jan. 13, in addition to the regular Monday route.

The city anticipates returning to its regular refuse and recycling schedule throughout next week.

Residents are thanked for their patience and understanding during the winter storms.
