Armed robbery reported in Carbondale
CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Police are investigating a reported armed robbery of a food delivery driver.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of South Illinois Avenue, according to the City of Carbondale Police Department.
The victim reported that a suspect approached them, displayed a firearm and demanded money. The victim was not injured.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a black jacket with an Adidas logo and dark jeans.
