Sheriff’s Office receives donation to support child safety programs

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — Cape Girardeau County Sheriff Ruth Ann Dickerson accepted a donation from the Jackson Noon Optimist Club to benefit the sheriff’s office and its partnership with the National Child Safety Council.

The funds will help provide safety resources, educational materials and other support to children and families throughout Cape Girardeau County.

“We sincerely appreciate the Jackson Noon Optimist Club’s commitment to supporting our community and its youth,” The Cape Girardeau County sheriff’s Office said.
