Sikeston Middle School students take part in annual Fishing Day

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — Sikeston Middle School students participated in the school’s annual Fishing Day, an event aimed at teaching outdoor skills and patience.

The Missouri Department of Conservation worked with students, showing them how to bait hooks, cast lines and enjoy time on the water.

School officials said the event is a student favorite and continues to provide both recreation and hands-on learning opportunities each year.
