Vehicle crashes into entrance of Carbondale Kroger; no injuries reported

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Carbondale police responded Wednesday to a report that a vehicle crashed into the front glass doors of Kroger at 501 N. Giant City Road, striking several unoccupied vehicles in the process. No injuries were reported.

Police issued a Civic Alert to notify customers. Investigators say the crash does not appear to have been intentional, and the store remained open. The investigation is ongoing.
