LCHS Robotics Program receives $5,000 TVA Grant to boost STEM learning

LAKE COUNTY, Tenn., (KBSI) — The Lake County Schools announced that the robotics program at Lake County High School has received a $5,000 grant from the Tennessee Valley Authority to support and expand STEM education.

School officials said the funding will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in coding, electronics and mechanical design. The program aims to strengthen critical-thinking, problem-solving and teamwork skills while introducing students to growing fields such as computer science, artificial intelligence and robotics.

Through the program, students will design, build and code robots, fostering creativity and collaboration.

School officials thanked TVA for its support of STEM education and the next generation of innovators.
