Kids turn park litter into masterpieces, now on display

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo., (KBSI) — Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation hosted an Earth Day “Trash Art” event, where children created artwork using recycled materials collected from a local park.
Organizers said the event encouraged creativity and environmental awareness, with participants turning discarded items into art pieces.
The artwork is now on display at the Poplar Bluff Public Library’s main branch, where community members are invited to view the creations.
Officials thanked participants and families for contributing to the event.
