Elder Abuse Awareness Luncheon planned at Dresden Senior Center

DRESDEN, Tenn., (KBSI) — The Weakley County Office on Aging and Dresden Senior Center will host an Elder Abuse Awareness Luncheon on Wednesday, June 3.

The event is scheduled for noon at the Dresden Senior Center and is open to seniors and community members.

Organizers said the luncheon will focus on recognizing, preventing and reporting elder abuse while promoting the safety and well-being of older adults in the community.

Lunch will be provided.

Officials encourage residents to attend and learn more about protecting older adults from abuse and neglect.
