41 new COVID-19 cases in Franklin, Williamson counties

MARION, Ill. (KBSI) – The Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department reports 41 new cases of COVID-19 on Nov 30.

The newly confirmed cases by gender, age and county are as follows:

Franklin County

Females:

1 preteen
1 teenager
1 in her 40s
1 in her 50s
2 in their 60s

Males:

1 teenager
1 in his 20s
1 in his 30s

Williamson County

Females:

4 teenagers
2 in their 20s
1 in her 30s
3 their 40s
3 in their 50s
1 in her 60s
1 in her 70s
1 in her 80s

Males:

1 infant
1 under 10
1 preteen
4 in their 20s
2 in their 30s
1 in his 40s
5 in their 60s
1 in his 80s

These individuals are believed to have acquired the disease through either local contact with known cases, social gatherings, church settings, community events or through transmission in the community (i.e. unable to trace back to a known source).

To date, there have been a total of *12,886 laboratory confirmed positives in

Williamson County:

12,315* have recovered

Franklin County:

*7,829 laboratory confirmed positives
111* deaths
7,445* have recovered
